Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unload and carry materials at construction sites.
- Cleanup site from debris and discarded material.
- Ability to mix and pour concrete.
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment.
- Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance.
- Must be physically able to complete manual labor.
- Operate pneumatic Saws, hammers, vibrators, and tampers.
- Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism.
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the field crew.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to receive written or oral instructions.
- Must be physically able to work throughout the 8-hour day.
- Must be physically able to work in weathered conditions.
- Must be physically able to follow task duties.
- Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others.
- Must be physically able to move and install pipe.
- Must be physically able to complete any task.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically able to complete manual labor.
- Must be physically able to work in ALL weathered conditions.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Work 40 hours a week and must be physically able to follow task assigned.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.
- Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
- Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must have own transportation.
